Founded in 1886, Saint Ignatius High School is a private Roman Catholic, Jesuit high school for young men and remains in its original location in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.
When challenged to raise $40 million of capital, the school chose the maxim Men for Others, a shared motto of the Jesuits, and connected to a target audience with a very strong and passionate legacy. In developing the campaign tag line, OhG capitalized on this legacy and stated the undeniable that all alumni are and always will be Ignatius Men Forever. Based off this brand, a campaign logo with identity materials were created to use throughout the four-year campaign.
Once the identity materials were completed, we produced a piece that spoke to this loyal body. What better way to engage the alumni than to use every class photo that hangs in the halls of Saint Ignatius from 1886 to present day, making each alumnus “More than Faces on a Wall.” The memento included a cover wrap consisting of all the black and white class photos, while the inside of the book focused on the students of today and of the future…which this campaign’s mission was all about.
