Cardinal Fastener Advertisements

Founded in 1983, Cardinal Fastener Inc. is one of the largest manufacturers in North America of large diameter, hot forged bolts.

When it comes to structural bolts, they’re all pretty standard. If you’ve seen one bolt, you’ve seen them all. To set Cardinal Fastener apart from their competition, we created a series of ads that made an immediate impact. A bold, constructivist design used a simple bolt in a reductive pattern in combination with a striking one-word headline that played off a bolt’s ordinary facets. The finished product became an eye-catching, contemporary poster that was not your “standard” manufacturing advertisement.
